Blogpost #8: Rhetorical Precis
In Josh Greendaum's sport documentary, "The Short Game" (2012) he proposes that young children can still preform at a high level and still remain as young children. The author first displays this by choosing a wide selection of children from all different nations around the world; he then shows clips of the children playing and running around and having a good time together, and to conclude he shows that the children can have detrimental effects in the future. For example Alexa has to go to a sport psychiatrist for her attitude problems. His purpose is to show the young children can perform at a high level of competition and still be a kid. He seems to have a neutral audience in mind because he exposes the audience to the good and bad of children playing at a high level of competition.
